Employee Award Criteria and Nominations
91³ÉÈË’s employee awards initiative, developed through the efforts of Pillar 1 and the Awards Sub-Committee, is designed to recognize and celebrate staff members whose work demonstrates excellence, commitment, and meaningful impact across the university. The program honors individuals and teams who embody 91³ÉÈË’s values and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and effective campus community. All awards focus on full-time staff with primary assignments outside of the classroom and are open to both self-nominations and nominations from members of the 91³ÉÈË community.
The program includes five award categories that highlight a range of contributions, including teamwork and collaboration, emerging leadership, excellence in mentoring, innovation in administrative and operational efficiency, and outstanding support of the student experience. Each award recognizes staff members who go above and beyond in their roles—whether through fostering collaboration, mentoring colleagues, advancing operational effectiveness, or enhancing 91³ÉÈË’s standing as a first-choice institution. Nominations require a written statement describing how the nominee meets or exceeds the award criteria, ensuring thoughtful recognition of the impactful work happening across the university.
