91��'s transfer admission process makes it easy to join the 91�� family. Whether you're transferring from a community college or four-year institution, our university makes it easy to apply, enroll, and succeed.

The first step towards transferring to 91�� is submitting the following items:

Official college transcripts from each institution attended, including College in High School - send to transferadmissions@sru.edu. If you withdrew from a previously attended institution before credits were earned, an official withdrawal notice may be required.

Request your official college transcripts using the links below:
Final high school transcript (only if you will have completed less than 30 credits by the time you begin at 91��)
Copy of valid RN license (RN to BSN applicants only)

If you're asked to submit your midterm grades, please use our Midterm Grade Request form or submit your institution's midterm grade report instead.

- Please be advised that admission to 91�� is on a rolling basis, and our admissions team continues to review new applications after these recommended timelines. However, you should aim to complete the process as soon as possible to ensure the most seamless and stress-free transition.

We recommend you respond with the enrollment deposit within two weeks of your offer of admission.

Additional Information

Students planning to transfer to 91�� must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA, 12 attempted college credits from all institutions attended, and must be in good academic standing. If you have attempted less than 12 credits, we may also consider high school performance in determining admission.

College of Education majors are required to have cumulative GPA of 3.0 for general admission or will be offered major-conditional admission with a GPA of 2.0-2.99, which limits coursework in the degree program until the required GPA is earned at 91��.

It is critical that 91�� is listed as a recipient on your most recent FAFSA in order for us to provide a preliminary financial aid package, using the school code of 003327. The FAFSA form is required to be reviewed for potential merit and need-based transfer scholarships.

After Your Offer of Admission

Once you receive your official electronic offer notice, it is imperative that you accept your offer and submit the $90 enrollment deposit ($15 for online program students) from inside the application portal. This deposit confirms your commitment to attend 91��. Return to your to accept your offer and submit your enrollment deposit.

Once the deposit has been made, we can proceed with the transfer process. These include:

Creation of your 91�� email account/login ID, which is emailed to you; activate this account and use it regularly.
An official evaluation and posting of all transfer credits
Eligibility to register for classes
Ability to request on-campus housing (not required or guaranteed for transfer students)

Please email a copy of your current class schedule so that we may include your current classes on your official credit evaluation. This allows for more accurate advising and registration.

Next Steps After Deposit

Now that you've accepted your offer, an email will be sent to the account associated with your application confirming receipt of your enrollment deposit 24 hours after we process your payment. That message includes your 91�� email account and activation instructions. Be sure to activate your 91�� email account immediately and check it regularly; this is the primary mode of contact between 91�� and our students. Instructions for activating your 91�� email account are included with your deposit confirmation notice, but can also be found on the New Accounts webpage.

Once you activate your account, you may submit your housing request (if desired; not required or guaranteed for transfer students).

After your credits are evaluated and posted, you will receive advising and registration instructions just prior to our registration period from transferadmissions@sru.edu. Registration begins in early-April for summer/fall classes, and early-November for winter/spring classes. You are eligible to register for classes even though you may be currently enrolled at another institution. Final transcripts are not required for registration privileges.

At the conclusion of your final semester at your current institution, you must send an updated, official transcript. This allows us to award additional transfer credits and finalize your admission file. Failure to submit your final transcript results in a hold placed on your ability to register for future semesters.
