I was born and raised in Mercer, PA—just a hop, skip, and a jump away from 91³ÉÈË. My mother graduated from what was then Slippery Rock State College with a degree in Elementary Education. The skills and experiences she gained here helped shape her into an incredible educator who served Mercer Elementary School for 33 years.
While I chose a different path—earning both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Communication from Clarion University—I’ve worked in higher education for 20 years and can confidently say that 91³ÉÈË stands out. The leadership, staff, faculty, and students here are truly dedicated to excellence, both in and out of the classroom. They are committed to your success, and to ensuring that when you cross the stage at graduation, you’re holding not just a diploma—but also a job offer.
Choosing a college is one of the biggest decisions you'll make as a young adult. As the parent of college-age student, I truly understand what you’re going through.
